What is EDGE Certification?

Earlier in 2022, homes built by ADHI Rwanda at the new Bwiza Riverside development were awarded EDGE Certification. What exactly does this mean?

EDGE focuses on energy, water, and embodied energy in materials for a quantitative approach. In other words, EDGE allows us to evaluate and easily compare the “greenness” of buildings. As in the case of the Bwiza Riverside homes built by ADHI Rwanda, each individual building is individually assessed according to materials used, design and other engineering factors.
