Making the World Better for All

ADHI fulfills 11 out of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

At the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. These are key goals which were defined to provide peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.

These goals take heed of the fact that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

ADHI strongly supports the UNSDGs by fulfilling 11 out of the 17 goals:

“End poverty in all its forms everywhere.”

ADHI works towards eradicating poverty by empowering individuals with new, accredited skills, in order to allow for their gainful and fulfilling employment.

“Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.“

“Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.“

ADHI will be utlising an eco-friendly and health-accommodating MBBR wastewater treatment system at the new Bwiza Riverside Community.

ADHI-built homes are more ENERGY EFFICIENT, through use of:
Natural Ventilation ◾ Reduced Window-to-Wall Ratios ◾ Innovative Insulation of External Walls with Politerm® Blu Light Concrete and Air Gaps ◾ Glass Wool for Roofing Insulation ◾ LED Lighting in Electrical Installations.

“Promote sustained,  inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.“

 

“Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.“

“Reduce inequality within and among countries.“

“Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.“

“Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.“

“Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.“

“Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.“
